Subject: Somebody else stepped into the blessing before me
I have no man to put me into the pool, no man to put me into my blessing, no man to put me into my healing, my deliverance, my financial break through, and no man to see me through my test and trials. This man was feeling all alone and in distress, his efforts was to no avail, notice St John gospel 5: 7, “but while I am coming another steppeth down before me”. My friend, is that a familiar feeling? Somebody else stepped into the position before you, stepped into the break through before you, into a new home, a new car, a new wife or husband before you. While you were coming another stepped down before you. How often we have given it our best effort and fell short. No help from your own, your own friends, your own family or your own people. Look at verse 7 “I have no man when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but notice in verse 6, when Jesus saw him lie there, he knew that he had been now a long time in that case. A long time sick not able to make ends meet, a long time in distress, single, not satisfied, not saved and not sanctified, a long time with a case without a cure. Look again at verse 6 when Jesus saw him! This is where your miracle begins, expose your case to Jesus he saw him lie there on his bed of affliction. Bring your case open before the lord. Expose it to him. Maybe you have taken your problems to man but they couldn’t or wouldn’t help you. But now! Jesus see you and knows how long you’ve been in that case! Here is the question to you “Will thou be made whole?” I have no man to help me, is no longer expectable. Jesus sees your need, right there where you are. Why wait on an angel or a man to stir the water and help you. Jesus just showed up at “your pool” willing to help you. Again the question is “Will thou be made whole?” Take hold of faith, rise take up your bed of trouble and walk.
